About Cohoe Micro Bakery
Cohoe Micro Bakery is located in the small fishing community of Kasilof on the Kenai Peninsula, three hours south of Anchorage. The area known as Cohoe adjoins the Kasilof River to the north and the teeming waters of Cook Inlet to the west. Kasilof is best known for its fishing, both sport and commercial, and for the world-class dog mushers who live in the area. Throughout the year, dog teams can be seen training on local trails for upcoming races.
Cohoe Micro Bakery developed Alaskan Salmon Snackers during the Fall of 1997 following extensive taste testing by canine friends. Their biscuits are made with all natural ingredients and contain no preservatives. The pink salmon we use in our nose twitching treats is found in great abundance in Alaskan waters. Theirs is caught and processed locally, then ground and frozen for use in Alaskan Salmon Snackers.
